JAZZ HOUSE KiDS Hosts “Something Wonderful,” A Day of Beauty, Pampering and Music for Students

If you happened to see 30 or so children with big, happy smiles on their faces yesterday morning, or heard the sounds of music emanating from the Vault 491 building on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, you probably witnessed “Something Wonderful.” These students, who attend Newark’s John F. Kennedy School, are scheduled to perform as part of JAZZ HOUSE KiDS® annual music showcase at Science Park High School tonight. To get them ready for the spotlight, yesterday JAZZ HOUSE KiDS teamed up with the Silver Family Foundation to host its annual “Something Wonderful” event, a day of beauty, pampering and music for the students and their caregivers at this ungraded, special education school.
