BrassWorks, located at 105 Grove Street in Montclair, NJ, combines modern amenities with faithful restoration of the building’s original 1930’s architectural details. The site was for many years home to the family-owned George Rutledge Etched Brass Works company that manufactured brass-etched business signs and plaques, as well as artistic creations such as desk sets and etched portraits. Prior to its conversion into office space in 2006, the building functioned as a warehouse for auto parts.
Today, the building is filled with a diverse group of high quality tenants and features an art gallery displaying the works of local artists. It is in a prime location near shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of the Montclair Walnut Street train station from which one may catch New Jersey Transit’s Midtown Direct train. The building also features on-site parking.
