Montclair Film Festival moves offices

The green shag carpet in the center of the office comes from the old office.

But in the cool, climate-controlled, architecturally detailed office at Hillside Square, it looks new.

“We shook it out,” acknowledged Montclair Film Festival’s director of development, Aran Roche.

MFF moved from its previous spot on Bloomfield Avenue to Hillside Square this month. Hillside Square, once First Church of Christ, Scientist, is a 1926 building repurposed into a Silver LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)-certified office by developers Robert Silver and Jay Schweppe, and by co-owner and general contractor Jack Finn.
